Hi! My name is Lesley. I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach, an entrepreneur, and a professional singer.
I started and maintained a lucrative cleaning business for 15 years, all while I traveled the country performing on stage as a back up singer. I've also made several live television appearances and laid background vocals on several hit albums for a country music artist.
I am the mother of 5 children and have been married for over 25 years. I'm a graduate of The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and am currently enrolled in the Advanced Gut Health Course to be completed in November 2020. I completed my Health Coaching Certification in November 2019. Following my certification, I started my own successful health coaching business aptly named “Lesley, the Health Coach.”
My mission is to help people achieve better overall health by bringing awareness to their unique wellness needs through simple and sustainable long-term changes using a whole health mind/body/spirit approach.
This mission was born out of my own wellness journey and that of my family. Over the past decade, we have faced several health challenges ranging from my son's rare genetic cartilage defect to my daughter's melanoma diagnosis and the discovery that I, my husband, and our five children all have a genetic defect called MTHFR.
Through all of this, I have remained determined to gain all the knowledge I can to provide the best possible outcomes.
I tirelessly researched and radically changed our diets, and although the element of nutrition was of importance, I didn't stop there. I began to evaluate my life as a whole. This journey of self-discovery is ongoing still and will continue throughout my life.
I now embrace life and am at peace with my body--something I was at war with most of my life--and I'm content to let my inner voice be my guide.
My hope is to come alongside my clients and help them find the courage to silence their inner critics and ignore the so-called “experts.” My desire is that my clients find ultimate peace and freedom with food, their bodies, and live their lives to the fullest.
